|description||This is my second attempt at trying to create a Nosgoth Area Flythrough of the Nosgoth Module in development.
The first attempt failed, cause I didnt realise it needs to be less than 10 minutes.... it was 13 minutes...
Anyway, this video shows several of the areas in the module already. The Southern Gate district, which will connect the wilderness to the City at the southern end, leading to the Outer Slums district. The Slums district will connect to an inner slums district to the north, as well as Linking to the Smugglers Den district to the east. Further North of the Inner Slums, is the Sarafan Keep Courtyard. The Red Raven Bar is located in the Inner Slums. The NPC's have been programmed with a script to generate Random Faces, Random Hair Color, and Random Clothing color, as well as random names.
They already speak alot of bar banter.
The Interior of the Sarafan Keep, subject to change, has been done too. It is supposed to look holy, prideful, and have a soldier/holy warrior feel to it. Because the players can be human, and sarafan warriors, this can and could be a player stronghold area, which is why It has similar music to the music of the Vampire equivelant ' The Cabal - Vampire Sanctuary'.
In terms of The Cathedral of Meridian, it is the only area to use music NOT from Legacy of Kain, it uses Dust to Dust from Final Fantasy XIII, the intention was to create a 'Holy' and pure feeling, this area is going to be available to vampires, and humans alike, so it makes no sense to give music which is grim for all characters who visit.
Yes - Some post processing effects were used in after effects, mostly just a Glow effect which actually looks nice, and gives me ideas for what to use in regards to zone fog.
The Smugglers Den, is going to be a Human Zone, but it will be dangerous to human and vampire alike, the zone will be full of muggers, and bandits, who will attack vampire and human alike.
In the video, you can see the Glyph System at work. Green Glowies, toggle them on, and nearby glyph gate turns on, turn them off, and the glyph/ward gates will turn off once they drain of power.
Glyph Energy flows from a single source.... the Sarafan Keep, if the master glyph turns off, then it would break the circuit to the whole city. The music in the Keep Courtyard is Raziels Clan Territory theme.
